The Origin

Born From a
Simple Frustration

In 2018, our founder Zara Hafeez returned from London with a suitcase full of beautiful shoes — and a burning question: why couldn't Pakistani women find this quality at home, in sizes that fit them, at prices that made sense?

She sold her car, rented a small workshop in the heart of Lahore, and spent six months learning the craft from master cobblers whose families had been making footwear for three generations.

The first collection was 40 pairs. It sold out in 72 hours. The second was 200. The third was 1,000. Today, over 50,000 Pakistani women walk in Thewearsoft — and we are just getting started.

Our dedicated craft studio opened — 12 artisans, imported leathers, and an obsession with the details nobody notices until they see them up close.

THE CRAFT

Every Stitch Has a Name

Our 12 master artisans have been working with us since day one. Each pair of Thewearsoft shoes passes through at least seven pairs of hands before it reaches yours.

We use full-grain and top-grain leathers, hand-lasted on wooden forms, and finished with vegetable-tanned soles that age beautifully with time.
